Many backers expressed interest in contributing additional funds to help move the project into manufacturing. This optional Production Upgrade allows you to contribute $100 toward that goal.
As a thank you, contributors will receive:

• $100 credit on future purchases — Get your contribution back over time.
Participation is completely optional and all Kickstarter backers will still receive their FLIPP unit as promised.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to upgrade to receive my FLIPP?
No. Every Kickstarter backer will receive their FLIPP regardless of whether you choose to upgrade. Your original pledge is fully honored. This upgrade is an invitation, not a requirement.
What does “priority first-batch shipping” mean in practice?
When our first production run is ready, Founding Member orders are picked, packed, and dispatched before any other orders — including post-campaign retail purchases. You backed us first, so you ship first.
How does the $100 credit work on future purchases?
As a thank-you for contributing to the FLIPP Production Upgrade, you’ll receive a $100 FLIPP Store Credit that can be used toward future purchases on NKORT.com.
Your credit will be linked to the same email address used for your original FLIPP preorder and can be applied to eligible future products and accessories sold through our online store.
The credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred to another person, and cannot be combined with other store credits unless otherwise specified. Additional details and redemption instructions will be provided before the credit becomes available.
We created this benefit to reward our earliest supporters and give you a head start on future FLIPP accessories and products.
Can I contribute more than $100?
Of course! To do so you can increase the quantity value at checkout to contribute in $100 increments (i.e: $100, $300, $400 etc.)
How will I access my Production Upgrade credit after I upgrade?
We’ll keep a record of your Production Upgrade, and your credit will be automatically applied as a discount the next time you make a purchase on our website.
To redeem your credit, simply use the same email address you used when purchasing your Production Upgrade. This allows our system to recognize your account and apply the credit automatically at checkout.
I backed at the original Kickstarter price. What am I actually paying in total?
Your total investment is your original Kickstarter pledge plus this $100 upgrade. You are not being charged again for your FLIPP — this is an add-on for Founding Member status only.
Can I upgrade if I placed a post-campaign pre-order on NKORT.com instead of Kickstarter?
This offer is exclusively available to our original Kickstarter backers. Post-campaign pre-order customers will not have access to Founding Member pricing or benefits.
What happens if I want a refund on my original pledge?
We completely understand. If you’d like a refund on your original Kickstarter pledge, contact us at support@nkort.com and we’ll process it promptly, no questions asked.
Is this project definitely going ahead?
Yes, unconditionally. We are in active DFM (design for manufacturing) with our factory and the first production run of 1,500 units is fully planned for Aug 2026. We are bridging the funding gap with a business credit facility. The Founding Member campaign accelerates our timeline and rewards our earliest supporters — but FLIPP’s production does not depend on it reaching its goal.
What is the deadline to upgrade?
Jue 23rd, 2026. After that date, the Founding Member upgrade will close permanently and will not reopen at any price.
